Models

Two models depending on your amputation

Limbium finger prosthesis for the middle phalanx, side view

Middle phalanx

For amputations at the second phalanx. It uses the natural movement between the first and second phalanx for smooth, intuitive bending, with precision for fine everyday tasks.

Limbium finger prosthesis for the proximal phalanx with anchoring to the hand

Proximal phalanx

For amputations closer to the palm. It anchors gently to the wrist to transmit the bending of the first phalanx, giving more stability and control for stronger grips.

Made in Spain

Custom finger prostheses

At Limbium we design and manufacture functional finger prostheses in Murcia for people who have lost part of a finger through an accident or illness. Each prosthesis is fitted to the length of your phalanges and the movement you still have, so that your prosthetic fingers follow your hand as you grip, write or type.

If you are missing more than one finger, tell us about your case: we assess each finger separately and tell you which solution suits you and how to fund it.

FAQ

Questions about the finger prosthesis

Does the finger prosthesis move?

Yes. It is body-powered: it uses the movement you still have in your finger or hand to bend and straighten the prosthesis, with no motors or batteries.

Which amputations is it for?

Middle phalanx and proximal phalanx amputations. In each case we assess which model suits your hand best.

Is there a version for children?

Yes. There is a child version with a tensioner system designed to make movement easier for small hands.

What if I am missing more than one finger or part of my hand?

We assess each finger separately and tell you which solution suits you. If the amputation or limb difference is at hand or wrist level, we design the grip from a 3D scan of your arm.
